Conducting the Interviews
In the period from May 2016 to April 2018, a total of 93 interviews were conducted. Of which 68 with men and 25 with women.

Indexing the Interviews
All interviews were transcribed and translated into German. Academics have done an content-based indexing. For each interview, an interview protocol and a table of contents were compiled, as well as keywords and historical annotations. For each eyewitness and eyewitness a short biography was created. Furthermore, each interview is accompanied by photos.
Access in an Online-Archive
The interviews will be provided online with all supporting materials and context information in an interview archive for education and research. The archive offers differentiated search functions that allows users to conduct a targeted searching that leads directly to individual passages of the interviews. The interview archive will beaccessible online from April 2018 on.
